Paddy has worked in the animal health industry for the last 23 years and has held roles in private mixed veterinary practice and worked as both a country manager and regional director for a number of private and multinational veterinary pharmaceutical companies, in different countries. Paddy is involved with Apiam Genetic Services to drive business succession.

Jane Rendfleish

  • 20 years expertise in the field of sheep and goat genetics, breeding, genetic selection, artificial breeding and business development.
  • Recognized and respected as a leader in the Sheep Breeding Industry, with a strong focus on mentoring and supporting team members and clients as well as feedback to suppliers of products and services offered.
  • Design and project manage the construction of Australia’s  largest sheep and goat artificial breeding Centre at the Apiam Genetic Services Dubbo location in   New South Wales Australia. This is a government approved quarantine export facility with a separate semen freezing laboratory, embryo transfer and live animal export facilities.  The Centre is being further developed to incorporate cattle and other species.
  • Provide breeding specialist advice to new breeds introduced  to Australia and their breed societies to ensure genetic and economic progress was recorded and breeding objectives were achieved.   Ability to produce data and management systems which meet the Quality Assurance Standards of Sheep Genetics Australia
  • Experience in the export and import of semen, embryos and live animals to and from Australia.  Embryologist and proficiencies in Semen Collection, handling, processing and freezing of sheep semen in straws.  Extensive experience in supervision and management of all aspects of Artificial Breeding (Semen, Artificial Insemination, Embryo Transfer) including pre program requirements, programming and post procedure recovery.
  • Excellent computer skills including software and e-commerce development creating an online experience transforming users into followers, customers into ambassadors.
  • Manager of 550 hectares with the capacity to run 3000 DSE at Dubbo New South Wales Australia
  • Financial management experience with accounting systems and a strong background in budgeting, cash flow management and business management.
